History: Sony was originally supposed to make an innovative console with the company Nintendo, however, when it came to the announcement of their partnership, Nintendo announced a different partnership with Sony's enemy Panasonic. Sony, humiliated, decided to make their own system: "The Playstation".
The Playstation was the first console to ship over 100 Million units, which it had reached nine years after it's launch date.
On April 25th, 1997, Sony announced the first controller to use analog (Dual stick) for it's console "Playstation".
